                     His career has been long lived. He's still alive today. With so many albums and achievements,  there's no wonder why he is so known. His band Blues Section is still working together today. I'm sure he has more singles to go.

                    He has been also noticed in hip-hop. He has been sampled in many hip hop songs. More noticeable J Cole Breakdown. The song is samples Bells. His hop hop influenced album is called X-Ray.

                                Eero won the first ever Georgle Award in 1967. He is one of the UMO'S founder members. He has conducted in many countries. He was the director from 1996-98.                     His band Blues Section has 9 singles. All singles include them playing and an artist singing. They have 5 albums. The band consists of vocalist Jim Pembroke, Eero Koivistoinen (saxophone), Ronnie Österberg (drums), Hasse Walli (guitar), and Måns Groundstroem (bass). Their influences are The Bluesbreakers and Jimi Hendrix.
                         He found his first interest in music when he heard some records his brother brought home from overseas. When he was young he studied classical violin, saxophone, and composition at Sibelius Academy. He later studied jazz at Berklee College of Music in Boston. His first line-up featured drummer Edward Vesala and bassist Pekka Sarmanto. His first album Blues Section was released is 1967. It is self-titled.
                                    Eero Koivistoinen was born on January 13, 1946. He was born in Finland. He is a saxophone player. He started his career in the mid 60's. He currently has 33 albums.
